Web Hosting Terms

Clear guidelines for using NaamX Solutions hosting services.

Hosting Usage

Hosting accounts must only be used for lawful business or personal purposes. Acceptable uses include:

  • Personal websites, blogs, portfolios
  • Business websites, e-commerce stores, corporate presences
  • Web applications, APIs, and development environments
  • Email hosting for your own domains (within fair usage limits)

The following uses are strictly prohibited on any hosting plan:

  • File storage or backup repositories (unless using dedicated backup services)
  • Video streaming platforms or large media distribution without prior approval
  • Proxy servers, TOR nodes, or anonymous browsing tools
  • Cryptocurrency mining, betting/gambling platforms (without explicit written consent)
  • Any illegal content under Pakistan or international law
🚨 Zero Tolerance: Hosting accounts found violating lawful usage terms will be suspended immediately without refund.

Backups

Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups unless backup services are included in their hosting plan.

  • We provide weekly system-level snapshots as a courtesy (7-day retention), but these are not guaranteed.
  • Included backup services (if part of your plan) offer automated daily backups with 14–30 day retention.
  • Recommended practice: Maintain off-server backups (local computer, cloud storage) for all critical website files and databases.
  • NaamX Solutions is not liable for data loss due to user error, hacking, or software failure. Always keep your own backups.
💡 Backup Tip: Use cPanel backup wizard or tools like UpdraftPlus (WordPress) to schedule automatic backups to remote storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).
⚠️ Important: Restoring from our system backups may incur a fee ($15 per restore request). Proactive backups are free and recommended.

Email Usage

🚫 Mass mailing, spam, and email abuse are strictly prohibited.

Email services provided with hosting accounts are intended for legitimate business or personal correspondence. The following email practices are forbidden:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or commercial emails without recipient consent
  • Using our mail servers for phishing, fraud, or impersonation
  • Mail bombing, list washing, or any activity that degrades server performance
  • Sending emails with forged headers or deceptive routing
  • Hosting open mail relays or proxy scripts for anonymous email sending

Legitimate newsletters or marketing emails require:

  • Clear opt-in consent with verifiable records
  • Unsubscribe links and compliance with CAN-SPAM / GDPR regulations
  • Rate limits: no more than 500 emails per hour per domain (shared hosting)
Allowed: Transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets, account notifications) and low-volume business communication.

Resource Limits

Hosting accounts may be limited to fair usage policies to maintain server stability for all customers. Standard shared hosting resource allocations:

Fair usage guidelines:

  • No single account may use more than 25% of server resources for extended periods.
  • Cron jobs should run at reasonable intervals (not less than every 15 minutes for heavy tasks).
  • Burstable resources allowed for traffic spikes; sustained high usage requires VPS upgrade.
  • Storage: Websites must consist of actual web content, not file archives or backups.
📈 Overage & Upgrades: If your site consistently exceeds resource limits, we will notify you and recommend upgrading to a VPS or dedicated plan. Temporary throttling may apply to protect server neighbors.

Suspension

Accounts causing security threats or excessive resource usage may be suspended. Suspension grounds include:

  • Security threats: Malware infections, phishing pages, compromised scripts, out-of-date software with known exploits
  • Excessive resource usage: Consistent CPU/RAM/IO spikes affecting server stability
  • Policy violations: Spamming, illegal content, copyright infringement (DMCA)
  • Payment delinquency: Unpaid invoices beyond grace period (5 days after due date)

Suspension process:

  • We will attempt to notify you via email before suspension for resource issues (where possible).
  • For security violations, immediate suspension may occur without notice to protect the network.
  • Suspended accounts have 7 days to resolve the issue before permanent termination.
  • Reactivation may incur a fee ($10–$25 depending on violation).
🚨 Repeat offenders: Accounts suspended more than twice in 6 months may be permanently terminated.

Data Responsibility

Customers are fully responsible for all website files, databases, and account activities. This includes:

  • Ensuring all content uploaded complies with applicable laws and our Terms of Service
  • Maintaining up-to-date software (CMS, plugins, scripts) to prevent security breaches
  • Monitoring account activity and reporting unauthorized access immediately
  • Keeping accurate records of user data if collecting personal information on your website
  • Complying with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) for your own end-users

NaamX Solutions does not monitor or review customer website content proactively, but will respond to valid legal requests and abuse reports.

🔒 Security Best Practices: Use strong passwords, enable 2FA on your control panel, regularly update scripts, and remove unused plugins/themes. Compromised accounts are your responsibility.
📋 Data Retention: After account termination (voluntary or involuntary), all data may be permanently deleted within 14 days. It is your responsibility to download backups before cancellation.

Additional Hosting Provisions

Domain Names: Domain registrations are separate from hosting. Failure to renew hosting does not affect domain ownership, but domains may expire if not renewed separately.

SSL Certificates: Free SSL (Let's Encrypt) is provided on all hosting plans. Premium SSL certificates are non-refundable after issuance.

Technical Support Scope: Our support team assists with server-related issues (uptime, email delivery, control panel access). We do not provide free website design, coding, or third-party script debugging.

Account Transfer: Upon cancellation, we do not transfer data to other providers. Customers must migrate data before termination.

Uptime Commitment: Shared hosting plans include a 99.9% uptime guarantee (see SLA Agreement for details and compensation).

Continued use of our hosting services after changes constitute acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree, you must cancel your hosting account and migrate your data.
